Dr Mark Birch

Deputy Research Director, Division of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Cambridge. Dr Birch investigates how the extracellular environment influences the activity of skeletal cells and how this understanding can be used to design and fabricate biomaterial scaffolds to support bone and cartilage repair.
