Amanda Barnes, Alice Carstairs and Paul Genever of the University of York presented “A Joint Endeavour” at YorNight in September 2015 as part of the European Researchers Night.
The stand demonstrated how researchers are using combinations of stem cell and 3D tissue templates to repair injured joints. In collaboration with Sarah Bates (Graphic Designer) we are exploring how we can use different creative practices to raise awareness of joint disease, and display and analyse the data sets we produce.
