Professor El Haj examines ways of controlling, scaling-up production and tagging, tracking and targeting of cells for tissue-engineered cell therapy.
She is interested in stem cell therapy for orthopaedic applications, bioreactors and in vitro conditioning for tissue growth and magnetic nanoparticle technologies for use in regenerative medicine.
